Professor Dr. Habib Radi Talfah Kahi Al-Dulaimi is a distinguished academic specializing in Human Geography, with more than three decades of experience in higher education, academic leadership, and university administration. He earned his Ph.D. from the College of Education (Ibn Rushd), University of Baghdad, in 1995, following a Master’s degree in Political Science from the Center for Third World Studies in 1988 and a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Geography in 1982.

Professor Al-Dulaimi began his academic career at the University of Al-Qadisiyah in 1989 and progressed through the academic ranks, attaining the title of Professor in 2008. Throughout his career, he has held numerous academic and administrative positions, particularly at the University of Wasit, where he served as Head of the Department of Geography, Head of the Department of Social Sciences, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies, and Head of the Geography Division. He also served for several years as Managing Editor of the Journal of Basic Sciences.

His administrative contributions have been instrumental in the establishment and development of several colleges, academic departments, and postgraduate programs at the Universities of Al-Qadisiyah and Wasit. These initiatives included the establishment of the College of Basic Education, as well as departments of Geography, Social Sciences, and Islamic Education, in addition to master’s and doctoral programs in Geography. Prior to joining the University of Uruk, he served as Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs at Al-Hikma University College. In 2025, he was appointed Assistant President for Administrative Affairs at the University of Uruk.

Professor Al-Dulaimi has an extensive record of scholarly achievements, including numerous research publications in national and international academic venues, as well as contributions to the authorship and evaluation of academic books in the fields of geography and development studies. He has supervised and examined more than 150 master’s theses and doctoral dissertations and has actively participated in scientific conferences and academic forums both within Iraq and internationally.

In recognition of his academic and professional contributions, Professor Al-Dulaimi has received numerous awards, certificates of appreciation, and honors. He has also played an active role in community engagement and academic development initiatives, reflecting his longstanding commitment to advancing higher education and supporting institutional excellence.
