Our History
Uruk University was founded in 2015 as one of Iraq's private universities, after obtaining official recognition from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research under Ministerial Order No. T H A / 3802 dated 20/12/2015. Since its establishment, the university has been committed to providing high-quality education in line with the latest academic standards, aiming to prepare professional cadres capable of keeping pace with modern scientific and technological developments. In its early stages, the university opened a limited number of colleges that met the needs of the labor market at the time. With the growing demand for scientific and technical specializations, the university underwent gradual expansion by establishing new colleges and departments, strengthening its position as a comprehensive academic institution.
